Responsibilities:
● Interpret blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts
● Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures
● Install pipes and fixtures, including fittings and valves
● Modify lengths of pipes and plumbing materials as needed
● Use saws and pipe cutters effectively
● Collaborate with other trades in installation coordination
● Test plumbing systems for leaks and issues
● Identify problems and determine appropriate tools and materials for corrections
● Select plumbing materials based on project needs
● Adhere to safety standards and comply with building codes
● Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
● 3-5 years of plumbing experience in commercial construction
● Must provide personal tools required for the job
● Reliable transportation is necessary
● Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
● Follow verbal and written instructions effectively
● Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
● Strong commitment to safety procedures
● Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
● Self-motivated and able to work independently
● Strong organizational skills with a positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Ability to bend, stretch, and work in confined spaces is also required.
