Key Responsibilities:
● Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews across multiple job sites.
● Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems.
● Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
● Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain workflow.
● Schedule manpower, tools, and materials to meet project deadlines.
● Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards.
● Mentor and train apprentices and journeyman plumbers.
● Report progress, delays, and field issues directly to the Plumbing Superintendent.
● Oversee and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on job sites.
● Assist with project planning, layout, and execution of plumbing scope.
● Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 8 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or foreman capacity.
● Proven experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously for a large-scale contractor.
● Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
● Deep knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
● Strong organizational and time-management skills.
● Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
● OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
● High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus.
