Responsibilities:
● Perform advanced plumbing, sewer, and drain diagnostics, repairs, and installations across various systems
● Independently troubleshoot complex plumbing and sewer issues
● Work in compliance with the Illinois Plumbing Code and applicable municipal regulations
● Coordinate permits and inspections as needed
● Operate and maintain professional sewer and environmental service equipment
● Service and repair sewer lines, storm drains, catch basins, and related infrastructure
● Interpret blueprints and technical specifications
● Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards
● Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and municipal inspectors
● Provide technical guidance to junior technicians when applicable
● Document work performed accurately

Qualifications:
● Active State of Illinois Plumber’s License or active City of Chicago plumbing license
● Minimum 5+ years of hands-on plumbing and/or sewer experience
● Ability to perform licensed plumbing work independently
● Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and applicable codes
● Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
● Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
● Physical capability to perform fieldwork under various conditions

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with sewer cleaning, hydro-jetting, and storm sewer work
● Familiarity with City of Chicago permit processes
● CDL or experience operating heavy service vehicles
● Background in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure-level plumbing
● Mentoring experience with technicians or apprentices
