Description
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Industrial Apprentice Plumber. As an apprentice plumber, you will work alongside experienced professionals in the field to learn and develop essential skills in industrial plumbing systems. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone who is eager to launch their career in the plumbing industry and gain valuable experience within an industrial setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist senior plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the layout and design of plumbing systems.
- Support the installation and maintenance of water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines in industrial facilities.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot issues within plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and malfunctions.
- Assist in the assembly and installation of complex piping systems for various industrial applications.
- Observe safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop an understanding of different piping materials, tools, and equipment used in industrial plumbing projects.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to efficiently complete projects on schedule and to the required quality standards.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 4+ years of experience as Commerical apprentice plumber or 5+ years of experience as a Commerical plumber
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in industrial plumbing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of plumbing concepts and terminology is a plus.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced professionals.
- Safety-conscious mindset and willingness to adhere to safety regulations at all times.
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Valid government-issued ID may be required, depending on the job location.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
- Duties are performed on jobsites in the DFW.
- Exposure to inclement weather conditions.
- Duties entail exposure to hazards found in mechanical construction.
