What You’ll Do
As a Commercial Apprentice Plumber, you will work alongside experienced plumbers and foremen on large commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll continue developing your trade skills.
Responsibilities Include
● Assist with installation of commercial plumbing systems on construction projects
● Support rough-in, layout, and final installation of piping and fixtures
● Read and interpret basic blueprints and job specifications
● Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping systems
● Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness
● Follow all jobsite safety procedures and company safety policies
● Work closely with foremen and journeyman plumbers to stay on schedule
Qualifications
● Valid Texas Apprentice Plumbing License (required)
● 1+ years of plumbing experience preferred (commercial construction experience is a plus)
● Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools
● Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
● Ability to work on active construction sites
● Good communication and teamwork skills
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
● Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks
Preferred (but Not Required)
● Experience on commercial new construction projects
● MedGas certification or training
