This role is perfect for those looking to learn from experienced professionals while working towards obtaining their Plumbing license.
Responsibilities:
● Assist full-fledged Plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings
● Install piping for water, gas, sewerage, and drainage systems
● Assemble and connect equipment and appliances used in plumbing systems
● Perform welding and other methods of pipe joining
● Maintain and repair plumbing equipment
● Operate, care for, and use all tools associated with the trade
● Perform daily cleanup
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or equivalent
● Active participation in a designated Apprenticeship program (if required)
● Ability to work in diverse conditions, including mechanical equipment rooms and extreme weather
● Physical stamina to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
● Comfort with tasks that require walking, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands and fingers
