Responsibilities:
● Assist journeyman plumbers and HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems.
● Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
● Handle and maintain tools, equipment, and materials used in plumbing and mechanical work.
● Perform basic tasks such as cutting, threading, and assembling pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
● Assist with the installation and servicing of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, including boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork.
● Learn to identify and troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical problems and assist with implementing solutions.
● Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
● Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
● Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in the plumbing and mechanical trades.

Qualifications:
● Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
● Strong interest in pursuing a career in the plumbing or mechanical trades.
● Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.
