Key Responsibilities:
● Inspect, review, and analyze plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
● Install sub-metering systems in existing buildings and new construction projects.
● Retrofit existing sub-metering systems with Automated Meter Reading (AMR) equipment.
● Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building, energy, plumbing, and gas codes and ordinances.
● Advise customers on repair service needs and provide estimates and recommendations for maintenance.
● Handle customer complaints and ensure high-quality fieldwork following company protocols.
● Maintain and calibrate tools and metering equipment.
● Prepare and submit timely fieldwork reports.
● Promote a safe work culture that complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
● 3+ years of experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or similar fields.
● Post-secondary education in Plumbing/Electrical/Mechanical preferred.
● Proficient in pipefitting trade, including sizing and installation of equipment and meters.
● Knowledgeable in building mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
● Experience with sub-metering systems and electrical/water devices preferred.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
● Strong troubleshooting skills and practical hands-on aptitude.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
● Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
● Willing to travel frequently (75-100%) to job sites.
