We are looking for a dedicated HVAC/Plumbing Technician to join our operations team at Mohegan Arena.

Responsibilities:
● Assisting in the operation and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and boiler systems
● Monitoring HVAC and boiler systems, identifying, and addressing potential problems
● Developing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures
● Performing maintenance, repairs, and alterations to HVAC, boiler, pumps, and plumbing systems
● Responding to emergency alarms from building automation systems
● Maintaining an inventory of spare parts and supplies
● Serving as Tech on Duty as scheduled
● Performing other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
● Basic knowledge of HVAC, boiler, and plumbing system operation and maintenance
● Understanding of operational procedures and industry terminology
● EPA Universal Certification
● Relevant licenses, certificates, or training as required
● Basic working knowledge of electricity and ability to read blueprints
● Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
● Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility in work assignments
● Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, move, climb, and work at various heights
● Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
● Valid driver’s license and insurance
● Preferred: College or technical school, along with 3-5 years of experience
