Responsibilities:
● Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment according to local plumbing codes
● Study specifications, building plans, and shop drawings to determine necessary tools and installation sequence
● Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and provide efficient solutions
● Ensure all plumbing installations and repairs meet safety standards and regulations
● Collaborate with a team of plumbers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and on budget
● Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify problems and ensure proper functioning
● Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to enhance longevity and performance
● Proactively identify potential delays or conflicts and suggest solutions to ensure projects run smoothly
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and techniques
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
● OSHA certification preferred
● Strong knowledge of pipefitting systems, codes, and installation practices
● Valid Journeyman Plumber license (Texas or applicable state) required
● Commitment to safety regulations and a safe work environment
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
● Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to on-site issues
● Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
● Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed
