Responsibilities:
● Read blueprints and technical documents to assess repair needs
● Collaborate with owners and contractors to plan plumbing layouts
● Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
● Use various methods (clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, welding) to secure pipes
● Measure, cut, and modify pipes using specialized tools
● Install and/or repair appliances like dishwashers, water heaters, toilets, and sinks
● Diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
● Repair or replace damaged parts and locate water leaks
● Train new apprentices in proper plumbing techniques
● Perform pressure tests to ensure pipe system integrity
● Maintain detailed work reports documenting all projects
● Test plumbing and fixtures for proper functioning
● Follow state laws and regulations while adhering to local building codes
Qualifications:
● Stable job history in plumbing
● Commercial Washington and/or Oregon Journeyman card
● Experience in the plumbing industry
● A commitment to our core values
● Dual licensing in Washington and Oregon is a plus, with a higher wage offered
