Responsibilities:
● Pull plumbing permits when required
● Supervise and mentor plumbing apprentices
● Perform preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and renovations of plumbing and associated systems
● Use hand and power tools proficiently, including pipe wrenches, hacksaws, hammers, and more
● Interpret blueprints and sketches for installation and repairs
● Maintain records of work completed, time records, and preventative maintenance through the CMMS system
● Ensure compliance with Massachusetts Plumbing and Gas Codes
● Be available for on-call duties as needed
● Provide the highest level of personal protection at all times
● Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
● Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a hospital environment
● Strong mechanical knowledge of tools and machines, including repair and maintenance
● Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles for creating precise technical plans
● Attention to detail and ability to follow specific guidelines
● Sufficient manual dexterity for tool usage
● Strong communication skills for effective information exchange

Minimum Job Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED required
● Current Massachusetts Plumbers and Gas Fitter license required
