Responsibilities:
● Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
● Identify necessary repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment under established inspection procedures.
● Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, and water heaters.
● Receive and complete work orders, select materials and hardware, and maintain accurate records on materials and labor used.
● Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
● Work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects.
● Respond to emergency calls as needed.
● Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED.
● Texas journeyman or master plumber’s license.
● Clear and valid Texas driver’s license.
● 3-5 years of plumbing experience.
● Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, installation techniques, and plumbing codes.
● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
● Strong problem diagnosis and resolution skills.
