Description
We are seeking exceptional full-time Master Plumber/ Gas Fitter or Journeyman with the ability to get Masters license with ESSE assistance, who can oversee the plumbing portion of our installs and as well as be a coach and trainer for new hires and other team members. If you are a self-motivated individual with great work ethic and can work well with others and our customers then we would love to get to know you. This position is primarily for NG & LP fuel systems for generator back-up systems.
Responsibilities
- Pull all necessary permits
- Job quotes and estimating
- Handle final inspections
- Assist technicians with technical support
- Perform certain portions of projects that require the skills of a master gas fitter
- Coaching our team on ensuring quality piping process
- Willing to obtain other states Masters license with ESSE assistance
- Full understanding of project schedule/milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings) and in-house shop drawings.
- Complete required paperwork and diligently processes daily reports, next week plans, accident reports, disciplinary reports
- Run and manage small to large gas construction projects and oversee multiple job-sites simultaneously
- Proven experience managing multiple crews from Foreman level personnel to Apprentices
- Proven ability to coordinate with other trades to complete plumbing scope of work within project schedule
- Capable of making prudent monetary decisions on behalf of the company
- Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment on their job sites
- Proven ability to plan ahead
- Understands the flow of the project and can communicate with the operations or project manager on current or future labor needed on the job
- Understanding /complies with the company tool policy and can communicate these values to less experienced employees
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience running and managing commercial plumbing jobs
- Master plumber license or ability to obtain Masters License, ESSE will assist in this
- Ability to travel as needed with overnight stays
- Experience in overseeing job site personnel – foreman through apprentice
- Effective communication skills, both verbally as well as written
- Complies and promotes company Safety Policy
- OSHA 30 hour preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
