Responsibilities:
● Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures, including restroom facilities, water heaters, pumps, and more.
● Sketching and laying out work from drawings, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with codes.
● Operating tools and equipment, and maintaining records and logs.
● Responding to emergency situations and coordinating work with stakeholders and other trades.
● Driving Authority vehicles to job sites and transporting equipment for projects and repairs.
Qualifications:
● A high school diploma or G.E.D.
● A minimum of two years of journey-level plumbing experience, or equivalent training and experience.
● A current Backflow Testers License issued by the County of San Diego or State of California (to be obtained within one year of employment).
● A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
