Responsibilities:
● Complete all plumbing work orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
● Adhere to all applicable building codes in your work.
● Prioritize work orders based on occupancy and weather.
● Provide accurate time estimates and assist in cost estimations.
● Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
● Communicate effectively about any plumbing disruptions.
● Collaborate with National Park Service Maintenance on projects.
● Assist in training and developing junior plumbers.
● Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
● Minimum four years of experience as a commercial grade plumber.
● Ability to install water, drainage, and sewer piping systems.
● Strong skills in plumbing commercial and residential equipment.
● Experience with water circulating pumps and plumbing fixtures.
● Familiarity with copper sweating techniques and using an oxygen and acetylene torch.
● Proficient in reading plumbing blueprints and codes.
● Must obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License within 90 days of hire.
● Physically capable of performing all plumbing tasks, including lifting up to fifty pounds.
