Responsibilities:
● Determining the installation sequence by studying blueprints and building plans
● Installing, repairing, and maintaining water, air, gas, sewer, and acid waste systems
● Testing plumbing systems for leaks and functionality
● Cutting, threading, brazing, and soldering piping for installations and repairs
● Performing routine maintenance on plumbing systems
● Troubleshooting plumbing issues and advising on repairs
● Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
● Complying with all relevant building codes
● Completing work orders using the AIM System program
● Responding to after-hours emergencies as needed

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or GED equivalent
● A minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience; 5 years preferred
● Valid Texas Driver’s License and insurable under university requirements
● Plumbing apprentice card through the State of Texas (Journeyman card preferred)
● Knowledge of plumbing installation practices and blueprint reading
● Ability to communicate technical information clearly
