As a Plumber, you will:
● Install, repair, and maintain water, gas, sewer, storm and drain systems
● Perform plumbing tasks under general supervision
● Act as the lead Plumber for projects when needed
● Work with heavy equipment, tools, and supplies, exerting force up to 70 lbs
● Assist in snow removal activities and work outdoors in cold weather
● Maintain a safe work environment by wearing personal protective equipment
We are looking for candidates who have:
● A High School Diploma or GED (trade-related education preferred)
● A current WSSC Master Plumber’s License or a Maryland State Master Plumber’s License
● Four years of progressively responsible experience in the plumbing trade
● Experience in underground utilities and plumbing service call repairs
● Ability to work in potentially hazardous environments and adverse weather conditions
● Strong work ethic and willingness to be present for emergencies and scheduled openings
