Responsibilities:
● Enroll in and participate in Howe’s state-registered apprenticeship program, T.E.K. (Technology, Experience, and Knowledge)
● Assist the Foreman in the preparation, fabrication, assembly, and installation of plumbing and piping systems
● Cut/carry pipe, fittings, and installation equipment at job sites
● Conduct pressure testing on new and existing systems
● Install valves and flow switches
● Participate in monthly classroom training sessions to learn blueprints, troubleshooting, and other essential skills
● Maintain tools, repair equipment, and keep work areas clean and orderly

Qualifications:
● Mechanically inclined with a strong ability to follow directions
● Good communication skills to work effectively with the team
● Capable of working unsupervised and maintaining a professional appearance
● Reliable transportation to and from job sites
● A high school diploma or equivalent is required
● Basic skills and knowledge of the trade are helpful

In this physically demanding job, you must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, work at heights, on ladders or lifts, and endure various weather conditions. A pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check are mandatory if offered a position.
