Responsibilities:
● Locating and identifying leaks
● Repairing or replacing pipes and components
● Determining the appropriate tools and equipment for each job
● Assisting in preparing cost estimates for clients
● Supporting the plumber to ensure compliance with plumbing codes
● Cleaning the job site after work is completed
● Addressing client queries
● Following the plumber’s orders and instructions
● Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
● Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
● Licensing: Must be able to obtain required apprentice plumbing licenses or permits
● Physical Ability: Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in tight spaces
● Basic Math Skills: Capable of performing basic calculations for installations
● Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to learn and develop skills in plumbing
● Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and committed to a regular work schedule
● Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks
● Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety guidelines and procedures
● Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
● Team Player: Willingness to assist others and work collaboratively
● Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and 3 years of driving experience
The Physical Requirements Of This Job Include:
● Regularly lifting 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
● Climbing ladders and navigating tight spaces
● Working in various environments, including indoors and outdoors
● Regularly stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching
