Responsibilities:
● Lead, mentor, and supervise plumbing designers and draftsmen.
● Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems, including hot/cold water, waste/vent, storm drainage, and gas systems.
● Prepare load calculations, fixture specifications, schedules, riser diagrams, and technical documentation.
● Work with AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus) to draft piping systems and coordinate with project team members.
● Ensure compliance with building codes (IPC, NFPA 99, and other relevant standards).
● Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities.
● Provide on-site verification of plumbing systems and support construction administration.

Qualifications:
● Experience: Plumbing Systems Design – 5 years (Required)
● License/Certification: Plumbing Systems Design Certificate (from ASPE or similar) (Preferred)
● Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit/BIM experience preferred).
● Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
● Experience in drafting schematics and technical drawings with attention to detail.
● Familiarity with building, plumbing, and fire protection codes.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey design concepts.
● Commitment to mentoring and developing technical staff.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
