Responsibilities:
● Create conceptual plumbing models based on verbal direction or rough sketches from engineers or designers.
● Manage and incorporate electronic redlines from the Mechanical Engineer using established workflows.
● Take complete ownership of the plumbing scope, meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
● Collaborate with project management, construction, and engineering teams to ensure design accuracy.
● Participate in all project phases including conceptual designs and producing construction documents.
● Apply knowledge of building codes and standards in project designs.
● Generate construction plumbing engineering drawings, including standard notes and details.
● Promote a positive working environment to achieve organizational goals.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
● Professional Engineer License (preferred).
● 3-5 years of plumbing design experience (required).
● Proficiency in Revit (required).
● SCRUM and Lean Design experience (preferred).
● Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong attention to detail, team building, and problem-solving skills.
● Valid passport or ability to obtain (some travel may be required).
