Responsibilities:
● Present, promote, and sell our products and services to existing and prospective customers through regularly scheduled meetings and events.
● Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
● Conduct initial evaluation of projects onsite or via telephone to provide customers with project estimates.
● Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers.
● Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication.
● Analyze market potential, track sales, and status reports.
● Serve as a liaison between customers and management by providing reports on customer needs, issues, competitive activities, and new product interests.
● Assist in regional events including presentations and sales regarding product and service offerings.
● Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● 1-2 years of experience as a Sales Representative is preferred.
● Strong knowledge or ability to learn about the New Jersey Private Well Testing Act requirements is required.
● Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
● Ability to interpret water test results.
● Experience working in the construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance industry is preferred.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong customer service, multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
● Familiarity with Business Relationship and Customer Relationship Management practices.
● Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
● This job operates primarily in a field environment and routinely requires walking, climbing stairs, and lifting equipment.
● Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds.
