Responsibilities:
● Perform field inspections during various stages of construction
● Review plans and specifications for compliance with city, state, and federal regulations
● Conduct Rental Housing inspections according to municipal ordinances
● Report violations and maintain accurate files and records
● Carry out other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
● Must hold a Michigan Mechanical Inspector license (additional licenses are a plus)
● Extensive knowledge of local mechanical building codes and construction procedures
● Ability to interpret codes and provide compliant solutions in the field
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Strong time management and organizational abilities
● Ability to work independently while exercising judgment and discretion
● Proven skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously

Education/Experience:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
● Experience in municipal code inspections is preferred
