Responsibilities:
● Perform commercial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins to trim outs on large-scale projects, including healthcare, government, education, industrial, and data centers.
● Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures for various systems.
● Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to install plumbing systems accurately.
● Install various piping materials including copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX.
● Set up grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, and utility hookups as needed.
● Operate ladders and man lifts from various heights safely.
● Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
● 1-3 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
● Valid/current journeyman plumbing license preferred.
● Medical Gas Certification, or ability to obtain, preferred.
● Experience leading or coaching apprentices is a plus.
● OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
● Basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills are required.
● Positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude is essential.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills.
● Ability to pass background and drug screenings, as well as physical ability test.
● Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
