Key Responsibilities:
● Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities for assigned projects to ensure objectives are accomplished safely and within budget and schedule.
● Monitor and control project budgets and schedules.
● Prepare and report project costs, progress, and forecasts.
● Establish and execute project work plans.
● Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders.
● Manage pay applications, Requests for Information, Purchase Orders, Submittals, Change Orders, Claims, and other project communications.
● Coordinate with Operations Manager and General Superintendent for resource allocation.
● Represent the company at project meetings and prepare necessary documentation.
● Review project elements to identify challenges and opportunities.
● Supervise work performed to ensure quality meets company standards.
● Review drawings and specifications for accuracy.
● Supervise Project Coordinators and Foremen as assigned.
● Respond promptly to project needs.
● Enforce safety policies and procedures.
● Ensure compliance with project procedures and company policies.
● Apply expert knowledge in commercial HVAC and plumbing.
● Attend work regularly to support project efficiency.
● Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
● Highly proficient in HVAC and plumbing industries.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
● Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
● Flexibility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to make quick decisions and multitask effectively.
● Solid understanding of engineering and architectural drawings.
● Proficient with software such as Bluebeam and Procore.
Education and Experience:
● College degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
● Minimum of 5 to 10 years of Project Management experience in construction.
● Ability to understand and manage general contractor and subcontractor documents.
● Valid Driver’s License with a clear MVR.
● OSHA 30 certification.
● Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
● Willingness to travel as necessary.
