Job Details:

● Salary: $68,328.00 – $128,793.60, depending on experience and level
● Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
● Providing specialized support for plumbing installations during construction
● Examining completed installations for quality and proper materials
● Advising plumbers and contractors on plumbing regulations
● Using computers and mobile devices to record inspection results
● Preparing and issuing notices of violation and researching codes
● Consulting with homeowners and construction personnel on compliance
● Responding to emergency and after-hours inspections
● Performing other job-related duties as assigned
To be considered, you need:
● A High School Diploma or equivalent
● Junior Level (Inspector I): 3 years in general construction or trade
● Journey Level (Inspector II): 5 years in general construction or trade
● Senior Level (Inspector III): 3 years in plumbing or construction and 2 years of inspection experience
● Relevant Virginia NCPCCI or ICC Certifications obtained within specified timeframes
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Occasionally, inspections are scheduled outside of the normal work hours. Inspectors normally begin and end workdays in the office and are required to participate in meetings and task groups.
