Responsibilities:
● General installation and repair services
● Provide Excellent Customer Service
● Diagnose and repair water heaters, water softeners, sewer lines, toilet repairs, and more
● Follow the Nexstar model for service excellence
● Exceed customer expectations with every interaction
● Apply local Mechanical Codes in practical job situations
● Collaborate with inspectors, suppliers, and co-worker technicians to ensure efficient repairs
● Draw simple diagrams and read wiring and piping diagrams
● Perform installations with minimal supervision when necessary
● Accurately select replacement equipment and estimate associated labor needs
● Utilize techniques such as soldering, pipe threading, gas leak testing, and repair
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 2 years of service experience, including in-home sales
● 2 years of experience servicing and installing hydronic/radiant baseboard, hot water heat systems
● 2 years of experience servicing forced air furnaces and air handler units
● High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational degree preferred
● Journeyman’s License Certification preferred
● Valid driver’s license required
