What You’ll Do:
As a Plumbing Superintendent, you will play a vital role in leading our plumbing division.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Manage all aspects of plumbing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety compliance.
● Lead and mentor a team of plumbing technicians and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and code-compliant work.
● Coordinate procurement and delivery of plumbing materials to ensure timely availability on-site.
● Interpret and review project blueprints and specifications for accurate plumbing system implementation.
● Enforce quality control measures to guarantee the highest workmanship standards.
● Maintain strict safety protocols and ensure team adherence to safety guidelines.
● Foster positive client relationships by providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
● Proactively resolve project challenges, proposing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
● Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
● Utilize email and technology systems for communication and management tasks.
● Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
● Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent in commercial or industrial plumbing.
● Familiarity with email and project management software for effective communication.
● Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and industry best practices.
● Excellent leadership and team management skills.
● Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
● Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
● Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing project requirements.
Physical Requirements:
You must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and communicate effectively. Additionally, the role requires working in outdoor weather conditions, frequent movements, and the use of technology systems for communication and project management.
