Responsibilities:
● Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls
● Receive and review work orders, making assignments to plumbers and mechanics
● Coordinate schedules and projects with the Engineering Supervisor or Manager
● Repair, adjust, or replace plumbing systems in compliance with state plumbing code
● Collaborate with outside utility vendors and contractors as needed
● Respond to emergency calls and perform visual inspections for abnormalities
● Maintain inventory and order stock, ensuring the availability of required tools
● Supervise trades assigned to plumbing projects
Qualifications:
● High school graduate or equivalent
● Valid Florida driver’s license with no more than six (6) points
● At least 21 years of age and must meet insurance requirements
● Five (5) years of plumbing experience, preferably in a healthcare facility
● Three (3) years of experience as a trade or vocational school graduate
