Responsibilities:
● Assist plumbers with repairs and all work orders assigned to the plumbing department
● Maintain a clean and safe work area
● Organize materials as instructed
● Abide by all safety rules
● Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
● Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures
● Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition
● Follow established procedures for job duties, including lifting and climbing
● Be on security and on-call rotation
● Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED
● Valid Texas driver’s license
● Prior experience as an apprentice helper is desirable
● Ability to use hand and power tools
● Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
● Physically fit with good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and sense of balance
● Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds
● Good human relations skills and ability to work effectively with others
● Willingness to learn and progress toward journeyman classification
● Ability to learn to use mini jetter, camera locator, and electrical auger
