Summary This individual will be a highly visible representative of the company and will be responsible for maintaining the highest of standards as it relates to the quality of work and a professional image. The individual will support a wide variety of equipment and commercial applications and must be adept and capable to learn quickly (self-learn when necessary). Essential Duties Responsible to complete all work orders and ensuring they are accurate, legible, and completed in a timely fashion. Responsible for having the hand tools necessary to do the job Company-assigned tools must be checked in and out as needed. This must be coordinated with the Service Manager or Tools Foreman. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. 3-5 years of Commercial Service Experience Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices Punctuality along with schedule flexibility is critical. Must be able to work around the schedule needs of CES customers Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of: Water heaters and boilers Automatic flush valves and fixtures troubleshooting and replacement Booster Pumps Recirculating Pumps Tool Usage: Drain machines Drain Camera Hydro jetting experience is a plus Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted Good verbal and reading skills include the ability to read and apply manufacturers’ instructions and to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and other CES employees Able to read and understand mechanical blueprints Must be able to climb, balance on ladders, and stand for long periods at a time Must not have fear of heights (Acrophobia) Possess basic computer skills Individuals must wear safety glasses as required while performing certain tasks Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints Must have the ability to be “On-Call” and available after hours for repairs. Flexibility and communication with management are critical.
