Position Summary The Plumbing Technician performs plumbing service work for residential as well as commercial clients. Services include responding to scheduled and emergency service calls. This position starts from home with a company provided vehicle, servicing some of the largest retailers in the country. A license is not required for this position. Key Position Points: Position: Plumbing Technician ( License is NOT required to apply) Location: Stuart, FL Potential Earnings: Commissioned Based with Potential to Ear $55,000 – $85,000 + Essential Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and clean up sewer lift stations panels and pumps Provides solutions to commercial and residential plumbing and drain line replacements, water heater replacements, commercial grease trap replacements, and daily service repairs and replacements of plumbing equipment. Assesses, identifies and diagnosis plumbing issues in a variety of commercial and residential environments. Resolves said issues. Fulfills local plumbing dept “on-Call” scheduling requirements. Provides outstanding customer service Act as subject matter expert and liaison for customers Attends and participates at monthly safety team meetings Prepares for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck ready, tools, etc.) Completion and submission of service paperwork to management in a timely manner Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practice Ensures effective communication between various WRE teams. Other duties as assigned by management Work Environment Must be comfortable working independently Interaction with customers Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience in commercial experience a plus, but not required Experience with sewer lift stations panels and pumps Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs. Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management. Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines. Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills. Ability to perform basic math functions. Required Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for at least a year At least 2+ years of plumbing experience providing full-service plumbing replacement and repair. Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace Must comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record High-School Diploma Company Offered Benefits Competitive starting hourly rates + opportunity to earn overtime during training/probationary period.
