Plumbing Drain Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to assist with the day to day management of our plumbing field technicians and office tasks. Our ideal candidate has thorough knowledge and experience within the plumbing field, as well as experience in a supervisory role. This position requires a person who can adapt quickly and overcome obstacles with a logistical mindset. If you have spent time in the Plumbing Service industry, you know how quickly the day can change and we need someone who can adjust just as fast. We need someone who is versatile and can help keep this successful company on the right track. Responsibilities: Assist with job scheduling to promote an efficient flow of work. Supervise field technicians to ensure workmanship is of superior quality, and provide technical assistance as needed. Work with supply house reps to price and order parts. Provide friendly and professional customer support to assist with projects and customer inquiries. Conduct site visits, estimates, and meet inspectors when needed. Maintain and update service records, work orders, and other documentation using company software and tools. Work in tandem with Service Supervisor and Office Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Journeyman or Master License strongly preferred. Cross Connection Certification strongly preferred. Expert knowledge and experience with residential and commercial plumbing systems. At least 3 years of management/supervisor experience. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Strong organizational and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
