A large mechanical company is looking to hire several Journeyman Pipefitters with New Construction experience.
The project is to support the Salt Lake City International Airport expansion and will be working specifically on this job site for 3 years minimum.
Duties will include installing and hanging pipe and fixtures. Working with PVC, copper and steel pipe on commercial new construction project as the SLC airport. They are currently working on terminal 1/2, water treatment, and parking garage all onsite.
* Fitting pipe for new construction for parking garage, terminals, and concourses.
* Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas
* Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations
* Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch
* Work in all types of weather
* Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
* Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Salary & Benefits
$18- $30 an hour depending on experience and certifications
Monthly stipend to those who qualify
Relocation assistance and reimbursement.

Will accept certifications from out of states
3+ years of commercial pipefitting required
Experience working on large Commercial Projects: Schools, universities, Airports, Hotels, Hospitals, Casinos, Prisons, High Rises, Resorts or Office Buildings.
Experience fitting: Cast Iron, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper Pipe
Experience working on various phases of commercial construction: Phase 1 to Phase 3.
*Must be able to travel and work in Utah*
