Company is looking for commercial pipefitters, specifically dealing with black and copper. They will always be working on commercial buildings, mostly new build. They will work from blueprints and create the fittings on site and install them according to the construction documents. Pipefitter will need to be able to drive to the job site which could be up to 60 miles from Lansing. Candidate will need ppe and basic tool belt to bring every day to site.
1st shift, starting 6 am to 3pm.
They will be working mostly 10 hour shifts.
The start time will depend on the project they are assigned to. Right now they have two projects in need of personal, the main one being in Jackson, MI.
These projects are both ground up new builds.
These will be construction based projects at job sites doing installation of new HVAC. They will be working around other trades in the facility, while production is going on as well. They will work alongside other partners conducting installation work on a team of 2-10 to accomplish the goals of the day. The work sites will be loud, and dirty at times. Also, it will be hot, especially during the summer months.
