Pipefitters are responsible for fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, galvanized, cooper, cooper-nickel and stainless along with the appropriate valves and fitting utilizing various tools and equipment in accordance with drawing, arrangements and blue prints. #CB

– Requires a minimum of 4 or more years of verifiable marine or industrial pipefitting experience. – Ability to layout, fabricate, fit, and install pipe. – Must be able to read marine blue prints and work from standard and metric specifications. – Testing will consist of a written comprehension exam & hands-on testing to include: from a pipe detail drawing,an applicant must be able to fit up a pipe assembly. – Must also be able to figuring a rolling ,90, and 45 degree off-set. – Able to fit flanges and valves.
