● Review plans, P&ID’s, specifications, and contracts for accurate estimates.
● Operate a computer-based takeoff and estimating system for consistent results.
● Coordinate drawings, scopes, and POCs with other trades.
● Prepare RFIs for bidding projects.
● Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
● Prepare recaps, general conditions, schedules, and letters for projects.
● Run job reports for bid reviews with the Estimating Manager.
● Assist in selling the project by developing supply scopes, presentations, and negotiations.
● Participate in kickoff meetings to present the scope of work and budget.
● Assist in tracking labor productivity.
● Attend daily staff meetings to monitor production and identify deviations.

Required:
● 3+ years of piping, equipment, and pipe fabrication experience.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred:
● Field/Craft experience.
● Understanding of piping and installation of equipment.
● Bachelor’s degree in construction management or mechanical engineering.

Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
● Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
● Ability to traverse uneven ground and climb stairs at job sites.
